Our visit to the Kyneton Museum
Arriving at the Kyneton Museum .
David McCubbin great grandson of the artist Frederick McCubbin told us about his grandfather's life. Then he introduced Mark Wilson author and illustrator.
Mark shares with us his journey of becoming an author and illustrator.
We do a drawing workshop with Mark. He shows us how to draw a turtle. Grace and Alandri concentrate on drawing their turtle.
Brodie, Ryan and James are also drawing a turtle as well as other objects.
We are listening to Mark and following his instructions to draw.
This is Mark's picture of a sea turtle.
Henry is standing next to David McCubbin because the McCubbin house was next to where he live's now.
Mark tells us about his book and explains his illustrations. Here Ben and Gracie are about to enter his "Olden Days."
Ben and Gracie land near a cart. It is going to the mountains with a family who are going to build a house in the bush.
We went on an introductory tour of the Museum discovering and learning about the Olden Days. Then Grace, Ruby and Christina enjoyed playing a game together outside.
Lola, Isi and Oliver play another old fashioned game.
We thought the Kyneton Museum was really cool!!!
