They look fabulous.

Pencil Cases

Josh proudly shows his finished
pencil case.

Lochy and Maddy construct their pencil
case.

Jack carefully hammers his nail in.

Laura and her dad work together to make
her pencil case.

Showing our decorated pencil cases to the
class. Well done carpenters.

New Greenhouse

Carlsruhe has a new greenhouse. Look at
all those cuttings and seeds we are raising.
Lets hope we have lots of new plants.

Cheese muffins

Today our cooks made cheese muffins.
Anyone for morning tea tomorrow?

Macroinvertebrates

Today Karen the Regional Waterwatch Coordinator
came to teach us about macroinvertebrates.
We used the testing kit to collect and identify the
macroinvertebrates found in our local waterway.
This information gives an indication of the health
of our waterway. We found a lot of quite sensitive
animals which was good. Well done everyone
you all worked really well and under the sea of
hats and heads there was a lot of discoveries
being made. Maybe we have a lot of budding
Scientists in our midst.

Self Portraits

This week these students tried their hand at
drawing a self portrait. They looked at some
of Vincent Van Goghs efforts. They used
water colour pencils and washes. Although
they aren't finished they look terrific.

Petal who are about one year old.
Thank you Rory, you are very kind.

Today Maeve brought in a gorgeous
little rabbit called Tilly. She is six

MPL Term 3 Projects

During Term 3 we studied Australia's Biomes.
Then we looked at endangered animals. For our
project we each choose an endangered animal
and researched all about it. Here are our
finished projects and dioramas. What a
fabulous job everyone did. Great work MPL.
