Edgar's Mission Visit

Edgar’s Mission is a not for profit Farm Sanctuary that seeks to create a humane and just world for humans and non-humans. Edgar’s Mission is set on 60 peaceable acres in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range at Willowmavin, Kilmore, in the state of Victoria. Today Pam Ohern came to talk to us about looking after animals humanely.

"If we could live happy and healthy lives without harming
others, why wouldn't we?"

Her message contained these animal rights.

Paula showed us how clever
her hen Little Miss Sunshine was.

Pam brought her pig Polly into the classroom
and proceeded to show us some tricks.

Polly could fetch and sit and walk the
red carpet.

Polly got a toy out of the box with her
mouth and then she put it back in again.

What a clever pig. Thank you Pam.

Last Week of Term Three

Jaz, Brody and Ryan have a last play in
their cubby before they need to demolish
it as it is the end of term.

Anyone for morning tea? Lily, Matilda,
Mitch and Jaz enjoy their cubby too.

These students have had a great time
together in their cubby this term.

Many of the boys enjoy very active
games of football on the oval each day.

A perfect Spring day at the Annexe. It is
a wonderful place to play in.

Faith and Olivia enjoy a game of tennis
together.

Lochy and Josh play badminton at the
front of the school.

Our twins Lily and Hannah

Mary and Kayleigh.
Miss Morgan has been teaching some
routines and our students are
picking these up really quickly.
Great skipping everyone.

Bendigo Athletics Sports Carnival

On Monday we competed in the Athletics
day in Bendigo. When we got back to
school we told everybody how we
went. We did really well. It was a great
day. Thank you Mrs Connell.

Beat Concert

Today we played our recorders  at the
Macedon Ranges Schools' Beat Concert.
This was held in conjunction with the
Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival at
the Kyneton Town Hall.

We played two pieces, 'The Galway Piper'
and 'Church Bells.' Well done everyone
you were all terrific.

Our Senior Choir sang a medley of songs,
'Simple Gifts,' and 'Puppet on a String.'
The students looked and sounded terrific.

Feast Lunch

In the kitchen Joe and Bec prepared and
served us our delicious lunch.

Faith and Talesha thoroughly enjoyed
their lunch.

Tommy enjoying his soup.

We sat out in the orchard to enjoy our
lunch.

The Carlsruhe gardens are looking stunning
at the moment with all the beautiful trees
and bulbs. There were many contented
tummies as well after this delicious
lunch. Thank you Joe, Bec and the
rest of the Feast Team.
