Jim Asimakopoulos OAM

Today Jim who has cerebral palsy came to
visit us. He talked about his abilities not
disabilities. He spoke about being a role
model, valuing diversity and treating
everyone equally. 

Beau enjoyed talking about his abilities
with Stuart.

Our chicks

We hatched four bantam-leghorn chickens
and one australorp. They are so cute.

Our first Recorder Concert




Today we played our recorders at the whole school
Assembly. Mrs B conducted, Arthur played his
 saxophone and Mrs Lenders played her guitar.

MU7 Animal Projects

Maia was dressed up as she shared her
detailed project on Guinea Pigs with the
class. 

Beau confidently shared his
knowledge on Guinea Pigs

Sophie presented her project on Rabbits

Julia wrote about Guinea Pigs and
confidently shared her knowledge.

Lucy shared her excellent descriptions
about Guinea Pigs very confidently.

Lily shared her nesting box and knowledge
of Chickens confidently with the class.

Josie produced this original project on
Earthworms and shared her knowledge
confidently with the class.

Harry produced this excellent project
on Rabbits and confidently shared it
with the class.

Bowen shared his project about Rabbits.

O'Pig Newham

This life size pig shows our local icon
"Hanging Rock" by local artist Tim Jones.

Our pigs made a colourful display at
Newham Primary School.

Lily enjoyed cuddling a new
born chick in the animal enclosure.

Isa held this very soft and friendly
rabbit. Can we bring it to Carlsruhe
please?

These highly decorated pigs were spotted
outside the Newham hall.

Zucchini Bread


This week our cooks made zucchini bread.
Someone said, "It is like carrot cake only
without the carrot!" We enjoyed a piece for
morning tea on Friday. Well done cooks!

Planting vegetables into our gardens
