Macroinvertebrates

Today Karen the Regional Waterwatch Coordinator
came to teach us about macroinvertebrates.
We used the testing kit to collect and identify the
macroinvertebrates found in our local waterway.
This information gives an indication of the health
of our waterway. We found a lot of quite sensitive
animals which was good. Well done everyone
you all worked really well and under the sea of
hats and heads there was a lot of discoveries
being made. Maybe we have a lot of budding
Scientists in our midst.
