An update on our Vegetables

Kohlrabi is a fascinating plant. It looks
a bit like an Alien! The edible part is
 the above surface bulb.

We have had a variety of interesting
lettuces. Look at this one!

Our broccoli plants are growing to maturity.
Many students are taking them home to
share with their family.

Our broad beans are growing strongly.
I hope out students have string and
stakes handy.

Our kale plants are prolific and keep on
growing even as the outer leaves are
harvested.

Many students have planted peas and
these are beginning to climb up the
fence or on tee pees.

Cabbage is often a very hard crop to grow
but look at this beauty at the Annexe.
